I'm Ikaika and I am the alpha dog. Which basically means I get to say how it is with my sister and I. But we get along really well. We romp and we growl and we fight but I would never hurt her. Mom calls my sister 'her little behaviorial problem' and me she calls 'her little medical problem', I guess because I have been pretty unlucky in the health department.
I have airborne allergies so I have to take anti-histamines and have a allergy shot every 2 weeks, I've had about 100 ear infections, 3 yeast infections, 2 bladder infections, 5 eye infections, Mange and before I was even a year old I had both of my hips fixed. Something called a Triple Pelvic Osteotomy because I was dysplacic. I don't remember alot about it except that I had to be separated from my sister for a little while because I couldn't walk or run. But now I am completely healed and always ready to chase after her, even tho she can still run faster.Canine Type: Black Labrador Retriever

I'm Keiki. And because I'm not alpha dog I don't have to worry about all that being in charge stuff. I love my sister tho even if she is in charge. Mommy used to call me "the picture of health", untill about 5 years ago when I became "Hypo-Thyroid", whatever that is. But all I have to do is take 2 pills a day and I am fine. Which is good considering they are always taking my sister to the vet. I hate it when they take her too, I always miss her. I guess I am kinda hyper too. But mom lets us run in the backyard everyday and that usually wears me out. I love to bark at strange noises and just generally guard my house.
And if there is any mischief in the house to be found, I am usually the one who finds it. Mommy also calls me her Lil Paluhia, which means lil licker, cause I love to lick everyone's face. Just part of my charm I guess.Canine Type: Yellow Labrador Retriever
